    Seliger water is one of the key components to contribute to the high quality of leather produced by Volga Tannery. Its natural composition proved to be just perfect for leather production.

  • The oldest enterprise in the leather industry of Russia

    It traces back its history from the workshop of the merchant Savin, a descendant of one of the first settlers in the town of Ostashkov, he founded the business that had became the cornerstone of the whole Ostashkov – leather tanning and processing.

    Savin was granted the title of nobility for his services in equipping the Russian army with boots during the Patriotic War of 1812. As a sign of special goodwill, Emperor Alexander I personally visited Ostashkov city
