Volga Tannery JSC is included in the list of strategically important enterprises for the Russian economy (№ 448)

Based on the results of the meeting of the Government Committee on economic development of March 20, 2020 the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, headed by Maxim Reshetnikov, included JSC “Volga Tannery” in the list of strategically important enterprises for the Russian economy.

The list comes as significant part of "System-wide measures" section of the Government of Russia’s anti-crisis plan due to the situation with coronavirus.

The Chairman of the Economic Policy Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov, noted that the enterprises included in the list will be under special control and, if necessary, will be promptly provided with governmental support.
