On June 11, Governor Igor Rudenya presented state awards to residents of the Tver region.

Vladimir Ivanovich Tumanov, the chief mechanic of the Volga Tannery, also received an honorary diploma and gratitude from the Governor of Tver region.

During his work at the Volga Tannery, Vladimir Ivanovich proved to be a highly professional employee who is directly involved in improving the company's production processes.

Under the direct supervision of Vladimir Ivanovich, Tannery’s collagen production was put into operation in March 2015. As major part of the project, the unique equipment was developed, manufactured and put into operation.  

Vladimir Ivanovich also took a direct part in the installation and commissioning of the 1st stage of treatment facilities in June 2016 - dehydration and reuse lines for chromium production as well as the oxidation of sulfides lines.

In November 2017, Vladimir Ivanovich personally developed the project of metering station that evaluates cold water entering the production. The metering device helps save water and enables the company to meet the requirements of environmentally friendly production.
