Volga Tannery resumes 2019 with Environmentally sound results

As part of the implementation of the EMS (Environmental Management System) policy at the tannery, our ecology department conducts routine water samples at the Lake Seliger in the area that abuts the tannery.

In order to improve the wastewater treatment processes at the tannery our shareholders have invested around 100 million rubles to install a high-tech wastewater  treatment facilities made in Italy that contain a multi-stage process of neutralization, purification and restoration of chromium-containing effluents.

The latest water testing has revealed that Volga Tannery production processes do not cause harm to the environment around the tannery and are totally ecologically safe.
